Chaiera’s Magical Indian Chai Recipe
We pour our heart into every cup, just like every Indian home. Here’s our recipe:
Ingredients
- 1½ cups water
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 tsp Assam tea leaves
- 2-3 tsp sugar (or jaggery for a desi twist!)
- ½ inch fresh ginger, grated
- 2-3 green cardamom pods, crushed
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 2-3 cloves
- Optional: black pepper, fennel seeds, or Chaiera’s secret masala mix
